2 Days Over

Our due date was Saturday, but that has come and gone. No such luck to have a Mother's Day baby. Oh well, the baby will come when he/she is good and ready. And we'll be ready whenever that occurs.

My last day of school was on Friday so this week I'm home, anxiously awaiting the baby's arrival. There have been some small signs that perhaps the baby is going to arrive soon, but nothing major. I go to the doctor on Thursday if the baby hasn't arrived by then to make a plan...the longest we'll have to wait for the baby's arrival is Tuesday, May 19. That, according to my doctor, is the absolute cut off date. It helps to know there is an end in sight.

We are definitely getting anxious to get to the end and find out about this little person we've been waiting on for so long.

  2. I hear the best way to make the baby come out is to just stop thinking about it and go about your daily life. It's like the watched pot theory...if you are worried about it, it won't happen as quickly... so just relax, take some walks, maybe get another massage and just do what you need to do, and it'll happen. :) Good luck mama!!

  4. HI Brian and Chris, it will be fun to check your blog once the baby arrives, great idea, Hope you are hanging in there, I can only imagine how frustrating it is to be over due. I do know a few tricks but I don't know if you'd feel like doing "that" anymore. Enjoy your last bit of time as just the 2 of you! Laura Knabel
