She's got her new shoes on...

Yes, it's official...we really do need to wear those shoes now.  Anna's been wearing cute little soft leather shoes for a while now, mostly for cuteness and warmth; but now it's official, she has to wear her big girl shoes because she's a walker!  She's not 100% cruising yet, but takes anywhere from 3-15 steps on her own depending on her excitement level.  Sometimes she gets too excited, tries to go too fast, and falls over.  She still finds crawling to be a faster mode of transportation, but she gets braver and braver everyday.  She looks so proud of herself when she's walking.  Here are some pictures of our new big girl:

Anna's new shoes...size 4...already thinking about moving up to size 5...I think we have a big footed girl just like her mommy!
So stylish.
Walking to get her balloon (still barely floating around the house since Valentine's Day!
Still balanced!
Getting closer!
It's hard to believe she's walking and starting to chatter as well.  No official words yet, but she's a chatter bug.  We're guessing her first word will be kitty.  It's the most commonly said word at our house and we've been pointing out the kitties to Anna since the day she came home.  She loves the kitties and gets really excited when she sees them, and makes a distint noise and "t" sound with her tounge when she sees them.  So she's getting closer!

And below I'm posting a few more pictures of our little reader.  She LOVES to read...especially interactive books with fun places to touch and feel.

Anna's favorite first book:  Peep Peep Little Chick.
A bed time book...
Feeling the ears on the puppy.
Feeling the baby blanket.
And the baby socks.

Tomorrow is the 10 month mark.  Two more months until the big 1!  We're getting excited thinking about her smashing cake in her face and thinking about all the new things she'll be doing between now and then.  Lots more changes to come.  She'll be a professional walker by then and probably even have a few words in her vocabulary.

We've captured some video of Anna walking, I know the pictures don't do it justice, so I'll try posting that shortly.
