This was our official rock diggin' weekend...so some rock diggin' we did.
We spent all day Saturday digging out the rocks in our beds that run across the front of our house and down the sidewalk. It was a lot of work, but it feels good to have step one of the front porch/deck project done. Next few steps are to rip out the existing sidewalk, start digging post holes so we can put up a deck/front porch, and then we'll do block patio pavers for the new sidewalk. Lots of work, but we love a project at the Fiscii house.

The rocks are gone...next to come out are the cut off hostas that remain...those will be moved to a new home...not in front of our house.
The sidewalk is next to go....
We also have to move the turtle sandbox...wow those things are heavy when full of sand.
