Day 1 of our official spring break was a success! Our morning started off with a trip to the dentist and some work at Mommy's school (so much for spring break away from work) but then it took off with lunch out at Daddy's work! The girls were so excited to see Daddy at work!
Our afternoon brought a movie with friends. We saw "Home" in the theater and Claire was in charge of the popcorn.
The weather when we got out of the movie was spectacular so we opted for supper on the deck. It was awesome.
The day ended with another movie that Anna has been waiting to see, Dolphin Tale. She has an obsession with whales, sharks and dolphins and since she saw a trailer for Dolphin Tale 2, she's wanted to see it. However, I suggested we watch the first one first...so we had to wait to get it from the library. She was so pumped when we got the notice that it was finally available. We picked it up today and she couldn't go to bed without watching it. She loved it....pretty sure tomorrow we'll have to get the second one. She may be our future little marine biologist.
Tomorrow is going to be a great day to be outside. We are playing with friends, having a bbq, and enjoying a nice day at home. We've got lots more in store this week!
