Easter weekend was the official start to our spring break. It was a great weekend at home with Easter festivities and fun.
Our weekend kicked off with some fancy cookies from dear friend Ann. She's very talented and makes a delicious cookie!
Saturday morning was the egg hunt at the fire station. Claire was excited at first, but when the siren sounded, she froze up. She was still happy to have gotten a couple of eggs.

The girls after the hunt. Anna noticed right away that Claire only had found 2 eggs, so without prompting, she instantly reached into her own basket of eggs and put more into Claire's. This girl has such a big heart.
After the hunt, we got to check out the firetrucks.
And Claire was excited to drive the police car.

Easter Day was a chilly one, but it was still a great day.
We went to church and made a delicious dinner after to enjoy.

The girls were a bit cold when we took their pictures outside.
Inside, they were much happier.
Easter evening turned into a beautiful night. We ended the day with a campfire with friends and pizza pudgy pies. It was a wonderful end to a wonderful weekend....and a great kick off to our spring break week off!
