Saturday we decided to have a family day and head out to Valleyfair. The girls had never been and Brian won some tickets at work, so we thought we should check it out.
The girls were so excited to go once they found out it was all rides, all the time!
First ride, the carousel!
They really loved all the Snoopy characters around the park. Planet Snoopy was full of great rides just perfect for them.
Whirly Birds!
This one was a little lame for Anna….but she was a trooper and kept going with Claire on any rides she wanted.
Superman ride! This one was a little nerve-wracking to watch, but they loved it!
Claire was just a little short for a couple rides, but she was a great sport about it.

The Wave Ride….Anna talked me into this one….it kind of looked like the people on the bridge got more wet than the riders--but that is just not true.
We were soaked.
Luckily this ride was early enough in the day that we were able to dry off by mid-afternoon. It was worth it, Anna thought it was awesome.
It was a great day at the park, lots of fun was had by all.
We wrapped up this weekend with a bonfire with neighbors and a Sunday full of house work. Oh the excitement of weekends when you are back in school! :)
