What a week!

It's been over a week since we've updated, so here is a BIG one! It's been a busy week since Father's Day! Anna has been very busy meeting lots of people and spending time with family and friends! We'll start at the beginning...

Last week on Monday Anna and I went to Blaine to spend time with Quarve (teacher at W-M with me) and her mom Jan (honorary "Grandma Jan"). We had a nice time with them. We had breakfast and enjoyed the outside before it got too HOT!

The next day Anna decided to sleep in after the business of the weekend and the day before!

Wednesday we had a great day at home getting ready for our good friends Lindsay and Andy to come up. They were on their way to Disney World for their honeymoon so they stayed with us the night before their flight and then Thursday we took them to the airport.

Thursday was another big day, Anna decided to work more on her neck muscles before she met her new friend Oliver.

Thursday night our friends Joshua, Laura and their 7 month old Oliver came over for dinner. It was their first time meeting Anna and we had a great time. Their little guy is adorable (obviously we should have gotten some pictures). Oliver is 25 inches long at 7 months and our little Anna is almost 24 inches already at 6 weeks. We think she might have gotten some of the tall genes!

This past weekend we headed to Iowa for Brian's 10 year class reunion...so we needed to take a bath. She is really starting to enjoy her baths.

While in Iowa Anna got to spend time with all her grandparents and some of her great-grandparents. It was a busy, but fun weekend.

While we were there we also got to quickly meet up with my old college roommate Ashley and her fiance Rick. Of course we had to go to DQ so we enjoyed some ice cream and laughs at DQ...some laughs were at the great workers at DQ (Thanks for the extra crunch candy Kate!).

This week we are at home again reorganizing from the busy weekend. Yesterday we spent time at the Mall of America visiting with great-aunt Donna Scarlett while she was in town. It was fun to see her and her friends.

Today we are off to pick up Lindsay and Andy from the airport, tomorrow we have a play date with Anna's friend Oliver and some other babies, and then Thursday is our 4th wedding anniversary. Next week when Aunt Katie comes up Brian and I are going to take advantage of the free babysitter and go out for dinner.

This weekend is the 4th of July! We are going to have Jason, Emily, and Anna's good friend Aaron come down and barbeque! It will be a great weekend!
