Just thought I would throw this random fact out there for you to enjoy...
Yesterday, at church, while in the nursery, Anna had her first official doughnut...and she liked it. Yes, a doughnut. Not really what we expected either...
The really nice lady who is in charge of the nursery asked as we were leaving her there, "Can she have a cracker?" I believe I answered "Yes, she loves to eat." or something along those lines...but apparently that means give that girl some doughnut holes! When we went in to pick her up Nelly said Anna did very well (she actually played and stayed awake this time) and she was happily sitting there eating a cracker. She also mentioned something about eating a doughnut, but I didn't quite catch it the first time. Then she said it again..."..at first she didn't want to have doughnut, but then she saw other kids eating so she had one too; she loved it." I kind of smiled and said thank you as we left, and then Brian asked as we were walking out the door..."did she say Anna had a doughnut?" I replied with an "I think so," but I thought maybe she was confused because she's eating a cracker...maybe doughnut is a new word for cracker? Sure enough, upon leaving Anna tried to share her cracker with me and give me an "Anna kiss" so I got close enough to smell that doughnut still lingering on her breath. Weird.
But like I said, she loves to eat and apparently she now loves doughnuts.
