Happy Valentine's Day!

I realized it's been a while since I've posted a recent picture post...in fact, I haven't posted pictures since the hives incident!  So, what a great day to post some new pictures from our Valentine's Weekend!  It wasn't too eventful, but of course, we had a nice time together...plus it was the weekend! 

Friday at daycare they had a Valentine's Day party...Here's Anna with some of her goodies!

I think this was her favorite present from her friends...a heart slinky.  She loved chewing on it and making it spring back together...spraying slobber everywhere!  Too cute!

We have been working with Anna on the word "no."  So far we have been very unsuccessful.  Most often it does make her stop for at least a second and think about how great whatever she's doing must be if they are trying to stop me from doing it!  We know she understands at least that we are telling her something important...and this is the face we get every time we say no...the pouty lip and a little smirk.  She's definitely going to be a stinker! :)

She's so busy these days we can hardly even get her to sit still for a picture...here's our attempt at a picture with daddy and his baby valentine.

Anna in her new coat that is a bit too big still...but we wanted to try it on.  Things to notice:  1.  She's still loving that slinky.  2.  She's STANDING BY HERSELF WITH NO HANDS!  Yes...no hands standing.  I think the slinky was enough to distract her because usually she realizes she's doing it and then lurches for the nearest thing to hold onto...but this was the longest we've gotten her to stand on her own...and I caught it on camera!!

My attempt at a fun Valentine themed picture...but as I said earlier...she won't sit still!  We're taking her in for her 9 month pictures tomorrow...I would like to see how that photographer does!

"Jumping" in her bed.  Anna's new favorite thing is to jump.  She bends her legs and moves up and down...no feet off the ground though.  She likes when daddy helps by bouncing the mattress below her!

Tomorrow is the official 9 month mark for Anna.  She's been here almost as long as she was in my tummy.  Wow.  Her 9 month appointment is on Friday so we're anxious to learn her new stats.  She's a growing girl! 

Our other excitement from the weekend was Anna's new baby cousin!  Auntie Amy and Uncle Jason's baby BOY arrived on Friday.  William Alan is Anna's first cousin!  They will have so much fun growing up together!  Right now they seem so far apart age-wise, but in a couple years they will be right there together, causing lots and lots of trouble!  Welcome to the world Will!
