Apple Orchard

This weekend we made our yearly journey to an apple orchard for some apples and fun.  We went to a new orchard this year, Fall Harvest Orchard and it was amazing.  We will be moving this orchard up to number one on our list!

Anna had a lot of fun picking apples.  We gathered about 19 pounds of apples in our bag and then spent time enjoying the rest of the farm with our friends Josh, Laura, Oliver, and Oscar.

Anna's first picked apple of 2011.

Reaching for a good one while she has one in her hand for eatin'.

Searching for apples with Dad.

Big REACH!

Filling up that bag.

She was in love with the tether ball game.  She was pretty good at it too, for a two year old!

The cut outs were also a highlight.  Once she figured out how they worked, she kept pointing and yelling and running to all the other ones to get her picture taken.

Lots of fun things to climb on.

Petting the goats.

This could be a Christmas card?

Our little piggie.

We apparently saved the best for last.  Anna and Oliver played in the corn pool for at least an hour...until we started to get cold outside of the corn pool.

Silly!

On our way out we stopped to check on the baby chicks, Anna even got to hold one.
As I said, this orchard was awesome and had everything a little kid could want!
After the orchard we came back home to play with Oliver and have supper.  The kids played so well together and were still going strong (running up and down the hall pretending to be cars) at 8:15.  Needless to say it was an easy bedtime last night.

Anna loved the orchard and playing with Oliver.  Today she asked if we could go back to the farm and play with Ollie-ollie-oliver again.
