This was a long weekend for Anna and Mommy. No school on Thursday or Friday so lots of time for fun!
We decided Thursday morning that it was time for a haircut for Anna. We've been talking about it for a while, and finally, after wiping her hair out of her face for the 100th time, we made the phone call. We went to an actual salon, the same girl that cuts my hair was available to cut Anna's. I trust this girl; I have crazy wavy hair and she has made it look normal. Anna also has been blessed with crazy waves, so to Kayla we went! Anna was very excited; I was shocked. But we talked it up all morning and when we finally got to her 2:15 appointment she was ready. Shy, but ready.

She did get a bit of a bang...something I thought I would never do, but Kayla suggested it to get rid of all the whispy stuff around her face and they are angled, so they will be easy to grow out again (I hope).
It's a couple inches shorter all the way around, with a few layers...so those curls at the bottom really pop again.
She loved getting her hair cut, and playing in the leaves.
So far we are definitely enjoying our long weekend...and glad there are still two days left of it!
