Welcome November...actually, I guess November has been here for a while. It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away and Christmas is right around the corner. With the beautiful weather, these things are sneaking up on me!
Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to lately, along with some funny Anna-isms to share.
*****
Morning breakfast is always an adventure. Most days Anna wants cereal (Cheerios, Kix or Life) and eats at the table next to Daddy. But for some reason, this particular day, she wanted Cheerios and wanted to sit on her stool to eat them dry. Since she has so many of her mother's genes in her we should have expected what happened that morning....
Cheerios went everywhere.
It appears from the pictures that there were only Cheerio casualties in the kitchen, but this is not true. In good Anna fashion, she brought her bowl of Cheerios to the hallway to tell Daddy that they had spilled and dumped many of them in the hallway too.
At least she's a very good girl and cleans them up...she went to the closet and got the broom on her own...even tried sweeping the carpet in the hallway.

With all the nice weather, many of our weekends have been spent outside cleaning up leaves and playing. Of course, outside means getting out the wagon!!

This past Friday, Mommy took the day off to spend the day with Anna while daycare was closed. We decided to make it a really fun day and went shopping at Toys'R'Us. We went to just look at all the toys and believe it or not, we even left empty handed! Anna spent over an hour checking out every toy they had in the place and really enjoyed herself. She's asked at least once every day since to go back.
Checking out some toys.
Kermitt!
She really wants one of these for Christmas.
Daddy didn't have the day off but was able to take a long lunch and enjoy a burger with us at Red Robin. Anna sat by Daddy while she ate her corn dog...she wanted pictures with Daddy before the food came. She's getting good at posing for the camera.
Here she was telling Daddy to smile.
Smile Daddy. Not sure it was the look she was going for, but she tried.
After lunch we had a few more stops to make and of course one of them included Target. At one of the previous stops Anna was upset because she wanted hot chocolate they were giving away, but they didn't have lids so we opted out. She was still a little sad about it at Target, so I figured, since it's her special day hot chocolate we should have!! She got a kids hot chocolate at Starbucks, her first real Starbucks drink...and the wonderful thing about it....they don't make it scalding hot for children. She loved it. Since Friday we've been to Target again twice, and she's requested a hot chocolate both days. Although she didn't get to have one, I think we've created a monster.
Today is reorganization day at the Fiscii house. We are cleaning out and organizing toys and rearranging. It's a productive day and there is still so much left of it!
Back to work we go!
