Twin's Game

Thursday night we went to Claire's first Twin's game!  The girls had school during the day, so after I picked them up and got them in their gear we headed out to get Daddy!

Claire was less than thrilled about having her picture taken before we left.  Thanks for the smiles Anna!

Game time was 7:10.  Our bedtime is usually 7:15.  We weren't really sure what to expect and we weren't off to a great start.  However, the night turned out to be great!

We hopped on the bus for easy access to and from the game.

Claire's first bus ride!

Anna and Daddy.  (Now Anna is looking less than thrilled.)

Finally at Target Field!

Family Photo!

We don't go to many games so we like to enjoy the good eats!  Of course we started with a dog, then had some chicken strips and a pretzel with cheese.  (We eat community style, everyone gets a bite!)

Claire LOVED the cheese dip for the pretzel!

Anna and Daddy with their matching hats!

Mommy and Claire.

Mommy and Anna!

We also had to get desserts.  We got a helmet sundae and Anna was amazed by cotton candy, so we got her one and she thought it was disgusting....so Mommy and Daddy got to revisit our childhood days of cotton candy.  It was good for a few bites.

Claire was a trooper through the entire game.  We took Anna at this age and she took a few naps during the game.  Claire was dancing around, walking everywhere, waving at everyone, making friends with all the people around us (luckily we went with a large group from our church so they didn't mind this random kid waving to them or trying to steal their beverages in the cup holders behind our chairs.)  She stayed awake the entire time!  Toward the end she was getting a little tired, and she wanted to cuddle in with Anna.  So she sat on Sister's lap and laid her head on her shoulder.  Cutest EVER.

The girls.

We left in the middle of the 9th inning.  It was tied 3-3.  We knew we couldn't do extra innings, it was already 10, so we headed to our bus.  By the time we got to the bus the Twins had scored another run and won the game.  Anna was upset that she didn't get to stay until the end and see them win, but we promised next time we'll stay till the end.

Definitely a fun time.  Target Field is beautiful, great company sitting all around us, and a fun night out!  Go Twins!
