This week Claire has Book Buddies Camp every morning. She was not a huge fan of going for the first day, but today successfully went with no tears. She takes her new backpack with her and a few other comfort items and she has had fun each day, once she gets past the initial drop off.
First day of book camp!
Book Camp gives Anna and Mom some time together. Today we went to the coffee shop with our friend Tara and played games and enjoyed lemonade and cannoli. Anna beat Miss Tara 2 times (legitimately) at Connect 4 and then felt bad because it was her birthday, so she let her win the 3rd time!
We all enjoyed some AMAZING cannoli. Wow. It looks beautiful and tastes even better. YUM.
Might have to go for more cannoli tomorrow....
We are loving summer. It's so relaxing and fun. Why isn't it summer all year long?
