Swimming Lessons

Summer isn't summer without swimming lessons!  

We signed up at a new place for lessons this summer, and it was a huge hit for the girls.  Claire is now old enough to have lessons on her own, not with a parent, so she was pretty excited.  

First day game faces!

It was really cute to see Claire stand with the kids from her class.  She did a great job listening to her teacher (who was a former student of mine) and was brave enough to get into the water all by herself.  She successfully passed Puddle Jumpers Level 1!

She was pretty proud of herself throughout the two weeks of lessons...she was always looking, waving, and smiling back at me.  

I know it's really hard to see in this picture, but Anna's up on the dive.  She was in Level 1 and they got to go off the diving board and she did it like a champ.  She loves to swim and was thrilled to pass onto level 2!
