Fall Fun

It's been a month since our last update, but it's not for lack of fun to share!  It's because we've been having too much fun to have time to upload and post!  It's been a busy month!

Some things we've been up to...

Fires.

Adults weekend with dear friends.

Twins game!

While the parents were away, the girls got to spend a weekend with friend Pam.  Lots of salamander catching took place.

And snacking too!  Claire mostly ate chips and drank Powerade for 24 hours straight.  She was happy, Pam was happy!

The girls moved in together.  Claire has been having a hard time sleeping and we thought perhaps she needed a friend.  So we tried them together and they are both happy.  We may have to update the walls so Claire can own the room too.
I repainted our bathroom from blue to brown.  Oh it's so much better.  We are still finishing up some projects with this but it's coming along.

We had Mommy-Claire date night.  We went out for Mexican because Claire and Mommy LOVE chips and salsa...especially the salsa.  It was a great night out.  Daddy and Anna went out for dinner too.  They also reported having delicious food and a fun time.  We are going to make this a monthly event...switching date partners each time.

We headed back to Iowa to celebrate a big birthday for Papa Dave! Surprise!

While in Iowa we also celebrated Great Grandpa Clyde's 87th birthday!  It was a weekend full of cake and fun!

Last week was Homecoming, so we spent a lot of time celebrating.  We went to the parade with Gracie and Tara and Pam.

Group shot!

We went to the tailgate and enjoyed hotdogs before the big football game.

Anna got her 1st grade pictures back!  Woah, she's getting so big!

The girls got to eat supper in Mommy's classroom before the volleyball, swimming and soccer games we were there to watch.

The girls both decided they want to be swimmers after watching their favorite swimmer Monika swim!

Saturday morning we went to the pumpkin patch and picked our pumpkins!

They both pick big ones!

Anna has started getting homework packets on Fridays, due the following Friday.  She likes to do them right away.

Today Claire received her 3-year-old Bible at church.  She was really proud to have a Bible just like Anna's.

It has been a great start to the school year.  We are busy, but we try to enjoy each day and not get too wrapped up in the busy.  Today we spent some time decorating for Halloween, the girls are both very excited about candy collection!
