October

Last weekend was our MEA break, the four day weekend we get to enjoy every fall.  Thursday, Brian and I had the day off to run some errands and check things off our list, but Friday was little girls fun day!  We started out with a Playdough fest.

Claire loves playdough.

We also had to get the oil changed in the car, so we made that into an ice cream stop.

After ice cream, we got flu mists.  The nurse gave the girls stickers and gum.  Claire was pretty excited to enjoy her first piece of gum!

We harvested our only pumpkin from the garden.

Sunday we had to run a few more errands and Claire got a tummy ache on the way.  When we got to Target, she said, "Mommy and icee will make my tummy feel better."  She's a little high maintenance, but I fell for it.

And of course Anna had to have one too...and she wanted her picture with Spot.

The girls are really enjoying their room together.  It's worked out better than we ever expected.  Anna reads to Claire for a few minutes each night before they turn off the lamp and go to sleep.

Sister was excited to sport her rain boots on Friday on the way to school.

Right now we are enjoying a quiet weekend.  Anna went to a day campout for Girl Scouts and Claire is enjoying some time at home with mom and dad.  Everyone is excited for Halloween.
