2016 has started off great! The first family birthday of the year has been celebrated and it was a delight! The girls and Brian decorated a cake to celebrate my 33rd birthday! I think Brian was more of a supervisor, not so much head decorator.
We went out for dinner at a fun new place nearby and I got to spend the evening with my three favs.
The girls were so excited that it was my birthday, they are big fans of celebrations of any kind.
I'm a very lucky gal.
They enjoyed singing and having me blow out the candles.

In other news....in the last year, Anna has really become independent and grown up. One of her favorite things is to run into Kwik Trip all by herself and get bananas or milk or eggs, or whatever grocery item is on our list. She takes the money, gets the products needed, stands in line and successfully pays her bill every time. She loves it and it makes her really proud to do it.
Lately, Claire has been really disappointed that she doesn't get to go too...so today Claire joined her on her mission and couldn't have been more thrilled!
They were told to stay together, hold hands and help each other. It was adorable and they successfully bought buns and bananas. These two....
