Tonight is the last night of staying up late, relaxing and knowing we get to sleep in the next day. Tomorrow is our official last day of spring break. Bummer, but it does mean that we are one-quarter away from summer!
So, we are going to go backward through our spring break and through a few things that happened before spring break...
Last night of freedom.....pizza, popcorn, Trolls Movie night! Food in front of the TV, a delicacy in this house.
The final product of one of the bookcase redo projects we had this week.
This week we decided to do some major rearranging. Claire got her own room (again) and Anna got her space back. Claire moved into our old guest room and we moved the guest room into Claire's first room turned toy room. We are almost 100% done with the move, but it's included a lot of painting, purging, and redecorating. Gotta love a good project!
Claire's class had a couple of firemen visit and we decided to join in so Claire wouldn't miss out. It's really fun to watch her with her classmates.
On Tuesday night we went and watched Dad bowl...the girls got a little squirrely, so we went for ice cream during the 2nd game.
We did a little shopping, Claire found this pig to be pretty awesome.
This was early in the week..the before. (remember we are going backward)
There was some bike riding, surprise outside time and lots of funny faces.
The two weeks before Spring break, Anna went to a volleyball camp after school. She loved it and her coach. She even chose volleyball over gymnastics for this summer!
Claire was able to show her Royal Pride and join Mom at a basketball game to support the Lady Royals on their run to state. Claire was a big fan of watching the girls play!
Anna finished up Girl Scout cookie sales with a Cookie Booth at the coffee shop in town. She LOVED selling cookies and sold over 290 boxes this year. She's on her way to top seller again.
Spring picture....it's super cute, but I will admit, we didn't remember it was picture day until we are at drop off at Kids Company that morning. Pizza shirt and a quick pony and we called it good.
Community Dinners are a favorite of these girls....this month, Katie was here on her Spring Break to join us too! All the kids with Pastor Jeanine.
Claire's favorite activity is basketball camp with Coach Holly. She loves going to practice and is excited to play more often next year like Anna.
She's a pretty great dribbler!
These girls...keep us busy, bring us much joy, and give us lots of love.
