Our Stylish Diva!

To celebrate Anna's 11 month birthday, we decided to spend the afternoon going through her clothes and pulling out all the "too small" stuff and adding in some more "getting close to this size" stuff.  Our little (I use this term loosely) peanut is still squeezing into the 12 month stuff...but definitely fills the 18 month clothes out nicely.  So in the process, of course we had to try on a few random new items that were in our "getting close to this size" stuff and double check a few items to make sure they still qualify to be in her dresser.  We were pretty close to being all done, and Anna had had enough of trying on clothes and cleaning her room, so she ended up with this outfit to play in out in the living room/toy room.  She's very stylish...even with the added random headband we made out of some tie for a shirt we couldn't locate.  Check out this stylish diva!

Sporting the headband and too many ruffles dress with leggings.
"Oh, I'm so beautiful!"
"I'm lookin' good."
Striking a pose.
Stylish and smart.
Look mom, I can read and look good at the same time!
...although she was sitting on the book...
Changing up the look....
Very hip...headband on the side...
Back view.
Got rid of that headband.  Check out my toothfilled smile!
After our photo shoot, we made some supper and while we were cleaning up, Anna found a new place to play...
I'm stuck...
But I have my ball so I'm happy under the chair!
Oh no, my ball is getting away!
Finding my way out...this took a little while, but she got out!

Today is the big 1-1 months!  Crazy stuff!  We've got a walker, talker, singer, jumper, waver, and definitely an eater.  She's a very independent girl with a strong will.  She has trouble taking "no" for an answer...but she has parents who tend to say that often, especially when she's attempting to eat the cat food...or better yet, sticking her foot in the cat's water bowl while wearing tights, ten minutes before we were going to leave for church.

These last 11 months have proven to be exciting and life changing.  Our prediction is that the excitement will continue for the months and years to come.  Anna will create many more interesting stories for us to share.  She keeps things exciting!
