Birthdays, Friends, and More Birthdays!

Last weekend we headed south to Iowa to celebrate Cousin Will's 2nd birthday.  Anna did very well with the fact that it was his birthday and not hers, but she didn't hesitate when she was finally given permission to help him open his gifts when he was showing little to no interest!

She loved his birthday hats-we'll have to have these at our next party!

 She also loved the cupcakes!
 Especially licking the frosting!

Reading her books while Will opened his presents.
Checking out Will's new saftey glasses.  She was all about checking out his new toys!
Her pail of goodies!  She loves her new books!
Giving Will a hug on his real birthday after brunch.

This past Saturday we got together with our friends Chris, Renee, Nathan and Evan.  We went to an indoor play area and Anna and her buddies loved it!  She made Daddy climb to the very top to go down the biggest slide with her (twice).
Anna and Nathan also enjoyed playing in the toddler area where Evan was stationed.
 Showing Evan how to teeter-totter--backwards!
 Being silly--carrying the ball everywhere.
 Smile!

On Sunday, we headed to Jason, Emily, Aaron and Simon's house to celebrate Anna's best little buddies 3rd birthday!  Anna and Aaron are 2.5 months apart, and met when Anna was 4 days old, so they go way back!

They play together really well and had a lot of fun inside and outside!

Outside they rode on the jeep again (Anna is still not a great driver, but might be improving).  They also stomped on the stomp rocket Aaron got for his birthday and watched the rockets soar through the air.

Inside they played with toys and looked so cute sitting together playing the piano.

They also spent a little time together standing on the chair eating more frosting off the cake.

Say Cheese!

Anna had fun picking out birthday presents for everyone and is quickly learning that her birthday is coming and then it will be her turn.

Today Anna and Mommy got to stay home due to the holiday.  We've been enjoying a day to catch up on some things and just relax.  Poor Daddy had to go to work.

This week brings no big plans, just continued relaxation and everyday fun.
