Even though our days are spent in school having lots of fun, we still find more time for fun after!
One night we went to our friend Ann's house to pick apples. She left many on the lower branches so even Claire could get in on the action.

We got lots of apples and spent an afternoon peeling, cutting, coring, and cooking. We made a lot of apple sauce and enjoyed some apple crisp.
Happy peelers.
Brian finished the last boards on the deck and we were able to check that project off our list!
It looks great and we are very happy that it is structurally sound!
This past weekend we had birthday parties to enjoy. Claire had fun playing in the sand at Lucy's party.
Anna loved jumping on the trampoline.
Sunday we went to Simon's birthday party and enjoyed time playing with Simon, Aaron and "Luly."
Today after supper the girls wanted to ride bikes to the park and play, so we did. We got some great play time in and then went home and enjoyed a scoop of ice cream.
The fall weather is here, although today was almost more summery. We are enjoying the great temps and time outside.
This week is another busy one with what hopefully turns out to be a fairly relaxing weekend before, yet another, busy week. Oh the fun of fall and being back in school!
