Claire has reached the age where you wish you could carry a voice recorder with her all day long and capture the random funny phrases that come out of her mouth. Here is some entertainment for you today:
The other night when we got home while it was dark and the moon was still a few days from full:
C: It's dark, mom. See moon now?
M: It is dark, Claire. Let's see if we can find it. There it is!
C: That not moon mom, that is egg.
Every night Claire leaves her "mama's special blanket" downstairs and we have to run back to get it. One night, she decided to fetch it herself.
C: Where mama 'pecial blankie?
M: It's still downstairs, do you want to go get it tonight?
C: Me be right back. Stay here.
Walked toward the stairs...then ran back to her room...
C: Stay here mama. Me be right back. Ok? Be right back.
She likes to be sure everyone is clear on their directions.
Any time you ask Claire about her name she responds:
C: Boo boo bear.
