Graduation!

Last Saturday was a BIG day for us!  It marked the official end of my Graduate work as I received my Master's Degree!  We traveled all the way to the ceremony as it was on our way to the ceremony for Aunt Kate's graduation from her Undergrad on the same day!

We knew we were in for a long day, so we packed lots of snacks to enjoy!

Here was my cheering section at my graduation!

I got my envelope!

Family photo after the big moment!

I couldn't have done it without the support of this guy!

Afterwards we went out for a celebratory lunch.  I had to use this picture because I think Anna looks about 10 years old!  What's happening to that little girl!?

Our lunch crew at Jeffersons!  Yum!

After my graduation, we headed to Dubuque to celebrate my sister's graduation and meet up with the rest of our cheering section (from afar)!

We celebrated with family and friends.  We didn't get a picture in our gowns together, but we did get this great shot of us at 10:00 that night....we were a little tired from our exciting days but we were still happy to be celebrating!

We share a lot of things, and now a graduation date!

Fun fact:  My brother and I also share a graduation date, his high school graduation and my undergrad were on the same day, same time!

I think going through the ceremony was great for our whole family.  The girls were able to see how important it is to continue your education and that you can always keep learning.  And it was celebratory for both Brian and I; we survived the process together!
