This weekend we started our Saturday with a project. Our dear friends Ann and Mark gave us "pencil" trees that we are attempting to plant and hope they eventually grow into a beautiful white birch trio. We'll see what happens.
Anna was ready with the water.

We planted three "pencils" together in hopes we'll get a trio of white birch trees someday. The girls felt they needed to be named, so they were blessed with the names Joey, Doughy and Tinkerbell. However, upon further reflection, Anna retracted her name of Tinkerbell and replaced it with Gadi Mark Ann....after those who gave us the trees.
A little mulch surrounding so we don't just mow over them.
Hopefully in ten years we'll be able to post an updated photo of our trio!
