Anna

Anna is our activity girl.  She is a social butterfly that wants to be involved in it all.  Claire would much rather skip camp or practice and just stay home. Anna wants to sign up for everything!

We have allowed her to commit to a couple activities that she's really been enjoying lately.  Her first is piano.  Every Monday she has lessons and has for about 8 months now.  She's made some huge improvements and really loves learning how to play.  She had her first contest on Saturday and got a Superior Rating.  She was so excited to score so well!  We were so proud of how brave she was to play for judges, she was really nervous, but went for it and did great!

Her current sport is basketball and this year she really started loving it.  Anna really got aggressive on the court and improved her skills a lot this season.  At half-time of the boys game, she and her teammates got to have a scrimmage and it was the highlight of her week!

She's #2 with the ball.

This was a really fun group of kids to work with.  Next year they split into boys and girls and it sounds like mom will get to coach a fun group of girls!  Next up, volleyball camp.

Anna loves to get crafty and Valentine's boxes are a big deal around here, so she took it to a new level this year with a Valentine's Guinea Pig Cage....her dad helped her with the framing, but she did the rest!

Anna's newest activity--Children's Choir at church.  She had her first performance a couple weeks ago and her next one is on Sunday.  Again, someone asked if she wanted to be a part of something and she couldn't say no!

Anna is also currently selling Girl Scout cookies.  This is the highlight of her year--her favorite part of being a Girl Scout.  She was the top seller last year and is on her way this year!

Anna loves all people, loves to participate and get to try new things.  On her summer list is horse riding lessons....she just loves it all!  We have really been taking in the maturity and personality she's developing as a 7-year-old.  She loves school, friends, and pizza.

We are so lucky to have two sweet, very different yet the same, girls.
