6 Month Stats

Anna had her 6 month well-baby visit today! Of course they just loved her! She was very talkative and happy for the nurses only cried for a few seconds after she got her shots. She's had a great afternoon, playing, eating, and sleeping normally. The shots (knock on wood) don't seem to slow her down much.

The official 6 month stats:

Height: 28 inches, >95%
Weight: 19 pounds, 9 ounces, >95%
Head: 44.5 cm, 94%

She is growing well on her own little growth curve above the norms. She's going to be a tall girl at this rate! Not that we're surprised by that...

We were also given the go ahead to continue down the solid food path...although we are already pretty far down that path...sweet potatoes, squash, peas, green beans, pears, apples, prunes, blueberries, strawberries....these have all touched her lips already. She's also tried Puffs....soft little cereals that she likes to chew with her three front teeth. They also said she's working on her top two...although you can't see them yet, they are coming! Anna is a drooling machine.

Things Anna loves:
*Waddles
*Squealing really loudly
*Sitting up playing with her toys
*Eating
*Her Nuk
*Of course her Mommy and Daddy
*Grabbing anything and everything she can get her hands on and putting it in her mouth
*Trying to crawl
*Baths
*Talking & singing

Hard to believe 6 months have passed. I say this often, but it's just mind-blowing how quickly she's learning and growing.

This weekend she gets to see her first friend ever Aaron again, when we go out for dinner with him and his parents.

We're hoping to get to enjoy what looks to be the last warm* weekend of fall.

*By warm, I mean 50 degrees in Minnesota.
