Another great weekend has passed. Nothing major was planned, but we had a nice, semi-productive weekend with a little fun mixed in, and of course pictures.
Friday night we stayed at home and relaxed and Anna went to bed at 8:00 and then slept in on Saturday morning until 7:20! It was a restful evening! Saturday we went out shopping and met up with Jason, Emily, and Aaron for supper. Anna was excited to see her friend Aaron again! He's 9 months old already!
Here's Anna all bundled up and ready to go see Aaron!

Saying "Hello" to Aaron.

Aaron a little jealous perhaps, that his mommy was holding Anna.

Emily with both babies. Anna trying to touch that cute boy!

When we got home, Anna was a little wired, so she got to stay up a little later past her bedtime. Here she is sitting in a big girl chair in the office.

Playing with her toys on the floor.

Check out all that drool on her shirt!

Playing with her new telephone. Brian pointed out after I got it, that she'll probably never see a phone like this in her life, other than in a museum. She'll only know cell phones...

"It's for you!"

She's good at going from sitting to crawling position.

But once there, not sure what to do...

Here she is doing her "motor-boat" noise and spraying spit everywhere.

And here's one where she's screaming!

Drool shot.

More spitting.

Eating Mommy's cell phone.

Tall girl. Standing with help.

Sunday was a nice day at home after we went and got groceries. It was pretty nice out, so we went out and took pictures in the leaves.

Playing in the dirt.

Eating some leaves.

Tasting another leaf. Each time she would get one to her mouth, she'd quickly make an icky face and throw it back on the ground and look for something she thought might be better.

She's having fun!

Yet another stick.

Smiles.

Quick Mommy and Anna shot before we headed back inside.

While Anna napped today, Daddy and I made more Anna food...apples, sweet potatoes, and apple cranberry pie...actually, the pie isn't for Anna :) We're looking forward to a short week of work and school and then we'll head to Iowa for a couple days with Grandparents over Thanksgiving. It will be a fun weekend.
I'm also very excited for next weekend when we get to start decorating for Christmas. I love Christmas and we are so excited to see Anna enjoy her first Christmas.
I haven't heard yet but I hope its just a cold too - he's been so congested in the mornings...feel bad for the little guy! -R
