Well, it's official. We own two homes. We closed yesterday and have been working in all of our free time since. Last night we headed right over and started cleaning and tearing out chair railing (trust me it needed to go) and prepping for painting. Then we got excited and decided to do our shopping trip last night and headed to Menard's and Home Depot for the rest of our supplies. We have our paint, so we are ready to go! Tonight we were back at it, cleaning and wall prepping.
Anna has been such a trooper thus far. She loves going to the "new house" and is very possessive of her bedroom. She will be a great tour guide for all of our upcoming guests. She has been packing a box each time we head over. Today she packed some of her games and books. When we got there she unpacked them and has one game on each of her shelves in her closet. She's already so organized. She's planning out where her bed will go, dresser will go, toys will go....she's asked everyday why we aren't sleeping there yet...then she remembers that Uncle James is going to move her bed, so she has to wait for him to come!
I lucked out tonight and got to bring Anna home for bed time...so I am getting a little feet up, relax time.
