Sunday was Anna's first basketball practice. She has been looking forward to it for a while now. I was excited and surprised to see in our community education catalog an option for preschool basketball camp. We got Anna all signed up and it was definitely a good choice! She loved it! It's only a half hour of fun, but I think that is plenty of time to hold the attention of 3 and 4 year olds. Yesterday they practiced their dribbling and bounce passes. Daddy went as Anna's helper (a requirement of attending camp-everyone needs to bring a helper). Daddy had a good time too, sharing his love of basketball with his little girl.
There were about 50 or 60 little kids participating, so it was really hard to get a good picture of Anna in action with all the children running around everywhere and getting in front of the camera, so here's one picture of Anna and Daddy right before the camp began. She was so proud to wear her basketball gear!
Next Sunday we'll keep you posted on the newest skills they work on! Maybe I'll be able to capture some more pictures next week!
