Our littlest little is getting bigger very quickly. Claire will celebrate her 5 month birthday on Sunday and already she's eating cereal, trying to sit up with much success, and the girl talks up a storm. Granted, we can't understand a thing she says....
Here are a few pictures of Claire's favorite daily activities:
Tummy time. Tummy time doesn't last long though, she rolls quickly back to her back. But I think once she figures out that this is how she eventually will crawl and become mobile, she may rethink her quick rollovers.
Our little sister practiced her sitting skills on Halloween night while we raced back and forth to the ringing door. She just needs to focus on a wide base and she can sit for a long time.
Claire loves to play with her toys at supper, but sometimes it just wears her out!
As I mentioned she's eating cereal now, and has been eating it with squash for about a week now. Tonight she tried a bite of banana and was less than thrilled, so we'll have to try that one again tomorrow. New flavors, new fun!
Claire's sleeping habits have been less than ideal. She's been struggling with her naps at daycare and doesn't sleep through the night anymore. Hopefully it means teeth or growth spurts or something that will soon pass so we can get back to sleeping through the 2:00 hour. Although, I know how quickly the time will pass and we sure do enjoy the extra cuddles for now!
