Right now as I type, I am sitting in the rocking comfy chair cuddling my littlest baby. Today is her first time staying home sick. This morning she slept unusually late for her, and when we went in to get her, she was all wet. She had puked and was soaked. We kind of thought perhaps she just had a major spit up (not uncommon) but then right after finishing her morning feeding, it all came back up (very uncommon). So, we decided we should stay home and cuddle today. No fever, yet and hopefully it doesn't come at all. She's had a few dry heave episodes since the last puke and now she's cuddled in sleeping in my lap. This is how we plan to spend most of our day. Hopefully this is just a morning thing and by afternoon she'll be back to normal. We don't want to have her first Thanksgiving be a sick one. Although, that would be par for the course, because Anna's first Christmas Mommy and Daddy were sick...
Send good tummy thoughts Claire's way...
ewww...poor baby! I hate to say this is exactly how we have discovered both of our children have the stomach flu every single time. They always sleep in it, and we discover it in the morning, unfortunately after we were all ready to go to daycare/school. I hope all of you are healthy
