Teeth Grinding and Terrorizing

The purpose of this post is to share two short stories.

Story #1:

Today Claire's top tooth broke through.  For the past month or so she's only had three teeth across the bottom.  Today was a big day for Claire.  This evening, Claire discovered that this tooth was in her mouth and has been grinding her bottom teeth with this new top tooth ever since.  And if you ask Aunt Katie how much I love teeth grinding she will have some great stories for you....we used to share a room...she used to grind her teeth....sometimes she would wake up with me trying to pry her jaw apart to make the grinding noise stop!  Oh, I hope the newness of this new tooth wears off soon! Claire is terrorizing me with this new tooth.

Speaking of terrorizing...

Story #2:

At supper tonight, Brian used the word terrorize.  I think it was in reference to something that Claire was doing.  Regardless, Anna has been really obsessed with rhyming words; daily she asks about a variety of pairs of words to see if they rhyme.  When Brian used the word terrorize, it apparently set Anna's mind racing to find the word's rhyming partner.  With her mouth full of chicken, she asked if terrorize and exercise rhyme.  I think she's getting the hang of this rhyming thing...
