Pizza, Pumpkins, and Parks

What a glorious fall weekend!  We loved the weather and the activities, wish the weekends were longer!

Saturday the girls went on a pumpkin adventure with Daddy.  They got to go visit our favorite realtor and pick out more pumpkins to add to our collection!  Mommy got to stay home and get a few things checked off her to do list.  The girls had a good time with Daddy and even got to make a stop at Michael's to pick up some craft supplies for Halloween treats for their friends.  Daddy loves Michael's.  

Saturday night we had friends over for craft night.  The girls got to make their own pizzas, Claire loved it!  She tried to eat the pizza by the handful before it had even gotten into the oven.  She loves helping with cooking.  

Our craft for the night was making rock mats with rocks from the north shore.  They turned out pretty fabulous!

Sunday we got to work painting the pumpkins the girls had gotten the day before.

The girls were both very focused and excited about their pumpkins.  

Claire tried to eat the paint a couple times.  It is non-toxic, but still probably shouldn't be eaten frequently.  

Claire got tired of the brush and wanted to test out finger painting.  

Anna thought the finger painting looked like more fun too.

We added our pumpkins to the family of pumpkins on the front porch.

Next week we'll do a little carving!

After pumpkin painting, we headed to the park to enjoy the weather and warm sun.  Claire proved to not be a baby anymore by doing everything by herself.

Anna has become quite the climber as well!

After the park, we came back for some bike riding.  Claire loves to wear her helmet and loves to roll down the driveway, sometimes a bit faster than Mommy might like.

Anna gets to ride in the street to the mailbox and back now.  She's pretty proud of herself.  Claire thinks she should be able to do it too, so we are having to work on driveway training Claire.
