About a week ago the girls' school put on their annual Christmas program. Grandpa Randy and Grandma Lori and Aunt Kate came up for the event. It is a fun little event where the girls get to show off all the songs they have been practicing since October; of course they get all dressed up in their pretty Christmas outfits.
So Friday after I picked them up from school we hopped in the tub and got all clean. Then they had to get their hair dried and pretty for the show!
Getting all dried!
The girls both love to sit on my sink counter and have their hair dried and play with the fun stuff on the side.
Claire's turn!
After we dried hair we had to eat supper and say "hi" to Daddy before we got on our fancy dresses!
They show cute pictures of the kids before the program from their days at daycare. Here was Claire all wrapped up in lights!
And Anna having fun outside with friends.
Claire and her friends singing "Joy to the World." They were all really in tune.
Heading back out with her friends on the rope.
Anna's class sang "Go Tell it on the Mountain" and "Silent Night." They did great with the words and the actions.
Afterwards they give out cookies and juice.
The program was so cute. They do such an excellent job.
The whole crew.
After the program we headed back to our house and the girls got to open their ornaments from Grandpa and Grandma.
Anna got a fairy.
Claire got a Cozy Coupe.
Putting it on the tree.
The rest of the weekend was very nice. The girls got to spend a lot of time with Grandpa and Grandma as Mommy had class on Saturday. It was a lot of fun and they were sad to see them leave.
Aunt Kate got to stay for the week though, so they loved that extra time with her!
