Now that she's two, she thinks she's pretty big stuff. She's actually been arguing with us for the past couple months that she's already two. Most of her daycare friends are already two, so it only makes sense that she thinks she's two as well....she's taller than most of her friends.
Here are some other fun things that you get to do when you are Claire, and you are two:
- Blow bubbles and squeal with joy at every bubble.
- Ride a scooter.
- Wear your bike helmet to Target because you love to wear your helmet.
- Start your summer vacation off with potty training...and consequently run around outside in plastic pants and a t-shirt and look really cute doing it.
- Eat popsicles like a pro.
- Crawl under mom and dad's bed to find Lola.
- Sleep in a big girl bed with your Dora pillow pet.
- Feed the fish for daddy.
- Help mom do the dishes by rinsing and empty the dishwasher by putting away the silverware.
- Turn on your own music at bed time.
- Brush your teeth and then run in to check with mom and dad to see that they are clean.
- Check on the baby birds with Anna and announce they are just eggs still.
- Sing 'Let It Go' over and over and over and it never gets old.
- Lick the beaters when we make cake or cookies or pancakes or anything in the KitchenAid mixer and get it all over your face.
- Sneak a bite of anything and everything that is being cooked in the kitchen.
- Move the stool over by mom to help her cooking in the kitchen and then try to take over the stirring situation.
- Carry the frozen veggies up from the freezer in the basement.
- Read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Brown Bear Brown Bear 20 times a day.
- Get mommy's phone for her whenever it beeps.
- Open the microwave whenever it beeps.
- Announce to the world that things are beeping.
- Do puzzles like a pro and teach Daddy his number digits (cause she knows them all already).
- Ride in Mommy's bike trailer.
- Ask "Mommy doing?" as many times as you want.
- Pour syrup over your pancKes and make sure the lid gets closed after every use.
- Poke at and antagonize your sister daily, but follow that up with hugs and love.
ClaireBear, Boo, BooBear, Bear, Sister, Smalls....She comes by many names, but she always comes running with a smile and her dimples poking into her cute little cheeks. She's a cutie with her big toothy, gummy smile and loves to get a laugh.
Happy birthday Claire! We love you and are looking forward to another year of fun with you and your silliness.
