For the Fourth of July weekend we had a visitor. Auntie Kate came for the weekend and we were so happy she did! She's actually working this summer; we've been spoiled in past summers to have her stay for a week or more, but this summer her time is limited. We were thrilled to have her for the weekend!
Anna and Kate practiced their cartwheels in the backyard.
We spent a lot of time outside. Claire got to test out the rollerblades.
And Anna just keeps practicing.
Lots of games of catch were played with Kate.
Claire loved throwing the ball and making Kate chase it!
We spent some time at the park and Claire showed us all her mad skills of climbing. She climbed up this rope ladder all by herself and went down the slide about 7 times.
Of course we did sparklers on the 4th. Claire thought they were awesome.
Kate was having a ball!
Anna loved them too!
It's not a weekend at our house without a project of some sort. Brian started working on our deck redo while Kate and the girls and I played.
We finished off our weekend with Kate with a trip to Buffalo Wild Wings-Kate's favorite. We loved having her here and can't wait for her next visit.
