Birthday Girl!

Happy 4th Birthday to Claire!

This year we were on vacation for Claire's birthday.  We were in Colorado visiting Auntie Kate and enjoying the sites of CO.  (More on that trip coming soon!)

We stayed in a great house where we were able to fix a special morning breakfast of pancakes and eggs and OJ--all requested by Claire.  

Claire kept reminding us all day long that she was the birthday girl!  She got to open one present on her birthday and pick lunch and dinner.  It was a special day for her.

Four is going to be great....we think.  :)  

Now that Claire is four, she said she's going to be done wearing diapers at night--although that hasn't happened just yet.  She also said she's going to be able to do pretty much everything.  We'll see about that.  

Claire is a very spunky, observant, curious, happy little girl who knows that a flash of her smile and dimples can sometimes get her out of trouble.  She fits the stereotypical youngest child as she uses her "baby" status to her advantage.  She loves school and is really geared up for pre-K next fall.  She recently started gymnastics and LOVES it.  She's also excited for swimming lessons starting next week and strives to be just like her big sister.  This girl is my snuggler and is always there with a hug!
