Since we were out of town for Claire's birthday weekend, we opted to have a party for her one week later. She was so excited to have a party with her friends!
Beacuse we knew it was going to be a HOT day, we opted for swimming and slip'n'slides.
The girls were ready first thing in the morning....here they are showing off their muscles.
Claire wanted a Pete the Cat cake....so I attempted it.

The slip-n-slide was a huge hit...I didn't mind being the supervisor as it was sooo hot!

We even made Kringla in the shape of '4's for her birthday. She had them at Great-Grandpa and Grandma's house and said, "Wow, these are so good Mom! Can we have these for my party!?" So we did.
After all the fun outside, the Karlsson's stayed and played with Playdough. They were so content and played together so well. Such a great group of kids :)
Claire has been sporting her new moccasins that Grandma F got her. Not really in season, but sister has a love of comfy footwear.
After the Playdough, we headed to Applebees for supper with the Karlssons....such a sweet picture of Aaron playing tic-tac-toe with Claire. She may have cheated and called 4-in-a-row even though he had 3 and he just smiled and let her go with it. Such a sweet boy.
It was a great day celebrating ClaireBear and enjoying the hot summer fun.
