May is a big month around here for birthdays so we spent two weeks celebrating to great people!
We kicked off Brian's birthday with a dinner at Benihana with friends. Both Brian and Anna got a birthday dinner treat and enjoyed the entertainment.
For the weekend, Brian's parents came for a visit and to enjoy some ice cream and cake to celebrate these big days!
Saturday morning we got up early and headed out for a birthday surprise for Anna...ear piercing!
Claire offered to hold Anna's hand...such a sweetie.

She did really well with it, even though it was one ear at a time. She was a good listener when she was learning how to clean her earrings.
She was so proud and excited!
For Anna's birthday celebration she chose to have two of her best friends come with her to the Mall of America for a visit to Sea Life.

The fun day ended with a trip to Cherry Berry for ice cream....and we ran into another sweet little girl!
On Anna's actual day we made a cake, a dolphin of course and celebrated one more time!
She's 7!

It is hard to believe that Anna is now 7 (and Brian 36 of course). She has grown so much over the past year...literally about 3 inches!
