2010-2011 First Day of School

Here she is, all dressed and ready to go...baby in hand and still not letting go of seahorse from bed.  (She sleeps with seahorse every night and carries him around most of the morning...then we have to search every night to find him again.)

Say "cheese" for Mommy on the "first day of school." (By the way, this outfit is a size 2T and fits her like a glove.  She still has a little room to grow, but really, not as much as I thought.)

Everyone's day back to it was a good one.  Even though Anna had gone back last week, we still pretended today was her first day.  Plus she did really well today at daycare, slept well at naps and didn't get in trouble for talking to her friend Gavin instead of sleeping (this happened a lot last week).  Mommy had a good day; first day with high schoolers.  I student taught with high schoolers, and loved it, but being in 8th grade for 5 years makes those high schoolers look really big.  But it was a breeze, fell right back into it and since I know about 95% of them already I don't have to play the name game!  I'm tired and will probably be in bed early tonight...might take a while until I can stay up until 10:00 again.
