We have a really great park not far from our house that has a "little kid" area along side the big slides and climbing things. It's great for Anna to be able to climb herself and go down little slides without the fear of her falling from 10 feet up, or without needing mommy or daddy to try and squeeze through small spaces with her in our arms. So this afternoon with the great weather and a nice sweatshirt we ventured to the park. Snapped some pictures since we haven't in a while. You might notice a pretty big, independent, fun loving girl in these pictures :)
Telling daddy she can do it herself!
Smiling for mommy!
Climbing.
Anna in a bubble!
More pictures Mom? Really?
Time to swing. Baby doll was swinging too! She wouldn't leave the house with out Baby!
Yay!
We thought Anna wanted to hold Baby while she was swinging, but it turned out she didn't want to share her swing and almost dropped her on the ground.
Daddy got to hold Baby instead while he pushed!
Weeee!
Mommy ventured up the BIG slide with Anna. Anna was more interested in the "pup-pup" that she saw across the park.
Yikes!
And then we had to try the twirly slide.
It looks like we're going really fast...but it was REALLY REALLY slow...our hair was just being pulled back from static!
This was some crazy spinning thing you stand on and spin in circles. It made both mommy and daddy dizzy. Anna wanted to try it but it's definitely more of a big kid toy. Playgrounds have way more interesting toys now than when we were little!
Anna "trying" it.
She wanted really badly to climb up this pole.
Driving her Baby in the car.
Hold on tight, Anna's driving!
What a nice relaxing weekend. We did a little shopping, a little cleaning, a little organizing and a little playing. A very nice balance of weekend fun. Back to school tomorrow.
Kallie also insists on taking baby everywhere. I can't imagine the amount of germs we bring into our home from baby riding in the grocery cart with us. I can't believe how big and "grown up" Anna is.
