Chomp!

Today Anna went to Oliver's house for the day to play while mommy was at school because Sandra had the day off to be with family.  She had a great time with Oliver, played happily, very much enjoyed herself.  Oliver had some extra friends over in the morning for a playdate.  Anna had played with many of these kiddos last year, but she was too small to be involved, so this time she had a great time....until "Jaws" struck...
Yep.  She got bit.  First time.  No skin was broken.  Just a nice little imprint.

Apparently she and a very nice little girl (I've met her, I know she's nice) were both really wanting to play with the same ride-on toy.  According to the eye witnesses, things got a little heated and the very nice little girl brought out the fangs before anyone could even react.  Anna was taught well, though, she did not retaliate; although, the first thing her daddy asked was if she punched the girl for biting her.  I was very proud that she just took it like a champ; she cried, but no punches were thrown.

This little girl has a mouth full of teeth just like Anna, as you can very clearly see....6 hours later.  It was bound to happen.  Her first bite.  We're just glad it was from a nice little girl we know and not some stranger kid who's mean.

  1. OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dread this day!!! I can't believe it leaves a mark so bad! If Anna were to play with Kallie and she did it, it would just leave two little front tooth marks;-) I hope that clears up fast. It looks painful!

  2. Poor Anna...

Nathan has been bit about 5 times...there are two "sharks" in the toddler room right now, as his teacher says (which makes me laugh)!
