Bowling!

Two weeks ago Anna talked Daddy into taking her bowling for her first REAL time bowling.  She was awesome and she loved it.  She got her own shoes (size 8, the smallest they had) and her own ball (7 pounder, pink of course).  She bowled two full games!  While she did have bumpers up, she did manage scores of 59 and 68.  We have some video of it, but it's on Daddy's phone...so perhaps we'll get that uploaded sometime.

This past weekend, Grandma Lynn and Aunt Kate were here.  We had a lot of fun shopping, playing, and relaxing, but on Sunday, Anna took them bowling too!  And this time, she beat her previous high scores, even getting a spare at one point!  Anna loves bowling, and if you ask her how to bowl, she shows you by rolling an imaginary ball with one hand (sometimes it's left, sometimes it's right) and she says, "You go, Whoop!"  Cutest thing ever.  We did manage to get a few pictures of bowling this past weekend...

Mommy helping her get to the lane.

Tossing the ball down the lane.  A few times we didn't get enough umph on it, so I had to reach out and push it with my foot or hand...the foot was a bad idea, as Anna then thought you would give it an extra kick!

Anna with her favorite pink ball.  A couple nights ago we were at a pro shop getting Daddy a new ball and Anna saw one that was pink, and said, "My ball?"  Maybe sometime deary!
Anna loves her bowling and I'm sure that there will be many more bowling adventures to share in the future.
