Happy 60th Anniversary!

This past weekend we went back to Iowa for a wonderful occasion.  We helped to celebrated 60+ years of marriage for Anna's Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma!  It was a wonderful celebration full of family and fun!

A few highlights of the celebration:

Anna and her cousin Will (who came all the way from Virginia) played fairly well together.  Anna didn't care much for sharing, but she does love her cousin Will!

Great-Papa really made Anna laugh playing with the play-dough.
The great-grandparents with Anna and Will.
Anna was the flower girl in the mini ceremony they had to commemorate the 60 years.  This was the dress Great-papa and Great-Grandma gave her for her birthday.
She walked all the way to the front by herself.  And then turned around and came back.
On the way back she remembered she was supposed to drop some petals.  Too sweet.
 The happy couple!
Playing with the petals after her job was done.
Anna catching some fish in the fish pond for a prize!
 Will got a turn too.

"Sit down Papa!"  Anna kept ordering Great-Grandpa to sit down so they could play more with play-dough.

Making bubbles with her bubble wand.
There were many other fun activities that our camera didn't catch, such as Anna taking her first swing at a pinata!  She was very excited to collect the candy and took pieces to everyone at the party.

It was a wonderful celebration of a wonderful couple.  Congratulations!

We were lucky to have a longer weekend in Iowa, so we also got to spend time with all the grandparents and aunts and uncles.  Anna especially loved having time to play with her cousin Will.  She sees him in pictures and has Skyped with him a few times, so she talks about him all the time, but I think it was more fun to play with him in person.  Although, it did mean that she had to do some more sharing of toys, chairs, and grandma and grandpa!  She can't wait until he moves closer so they can play more often!
