It's official. Today we set up the finished big big-girl bed and as we speak/type Anna is sleeping in it!
For the last couple months, every time we walk through the garage she points at the boards and says, "Anna's new bed. Daddy's makin' it." And now, it's in her room. She was pretty excited about the whole thing today!
The pieces were "delivered' to her room.
She helped put in the bottom part.
Then they had to nail it down. Anna was a great helper, handing Daddy nails.
"More nails Daddy?"
Watching carefully.
His little assistant.
"Went under Daddy!"
All done. Bed made, pillows on, Anna in...
But we weren't ready for her to sleep in it off the ground without some safety measures...
Side rails installed and secure. She was a happy little camper!
