4 Months Old

Where has the time already gone?  Claire is already four months old.  While that doesn't seem all that old, today at her well-baby check up there was talk of solid foods and baby proofing and sitting up and all these grown up baby things...  

The next couple months will bring about a lot of changes for Miss Claire.  One thing that isn't changing for Miss Claire is being a tall girl!  Her stats from the day:  

Height:  26.5 inches, 99%ile

Weight:  15 pounds, 13.5 ounces, 81%ile

Head:  42.75 cm, 95%ile

She's a growing girl!  

Here are a few fun facts about Claire:  

• Claire sleeps through the night, from 8 pm to 5:30 am.  We love our good little sleeper.  
• Claire can roll from tummy to back with ease.  
• Just this weekend she rolled from back to tummy a few times.  
• Claire smiles a lot, and has the cutest dimples ever!
• Claire is a mama's girl right now.  She gives Daddy a pretty hard time sometimes, but she still loves him and smiles at him, just as long as Mommy isn't too far away.  
• Claire loves to watch her sister.  If Anna is around, Claire can hardly take her eyes off her.  
• She loves the excersaucer.  She will sit/stand in the saucer for semi-extended periods of time happily. 
• Everything goes in the mouth.  Hands are constantly in her mouth and any toy or object she gets her hands on goes straight to the mouth.  
• Sister is a drooler!  She can soak through the front of her shirt in 5 minutes flat.  
• Claire is working on holding her own bottle.  Girl loves to eat.  
• Claire is a cuddler.  She loves to be held and cuddled.  Yesterday was her first day at the nursery in church and she was asleep and cuddling with one of the ladies by the time we got back.  They said we could leave her for the morning, they were loving her and her cuteness. 
• She is a vocal girl.  Sister can produce some high pitched squeals when she wants to!  She wants to make sure she is heard in this house of chatter!

Claire is awesome.  Her laid back personality fits perfectly into our family of 4.  We love this girl so much and love to give her cuddles and kisses.  We are both looking forward to a day of snuggles after the traumatic morning at the doctor's office and getting those horrible shots.
