Bad Dream

This morning around 1:30 AM I opened my eyes when I heard, "Mommy, I can't get in your bed," and Anna was standing about 6 inches from my face.  So I lifted our oldest child into bed and she curled in between Mommy and Daddy.  Daddy got a few kicks and had more blankets stolen from him, but we all survived just fine, even when Claire joined us at 5:30 AM.  Good thing we got the California King...

At 1:30 in the morning, I wasn't really into asking questions, I just said, sure, hop in.  But this morning we asked Anna why she came into our room last night.  Her response was, "I had a scary movie on my back."  We're really not sure what it looks like to have a movie on her back, but later in the day she described a scary movie with a snowman.  At supper she described the movie in even more detail, "It was a mean Frosty.  He was mad at me because I tried to knock him over."

This was her first actual description of a dream she had.  She did use the word dream and said usually Frosty is funny and "makes me laugh."  So, hopefully she doesn't develop some weird fear of snowmen...especially since winter is just around the corner.

Even though, it was a bad dream situation, it was nice and cozy to wake up with the whole fam cuddled into the bed...although Daddy may disagree, he said he was down to less than 4 inches of blankets.
