For the months of April and May, every Saturday Claire is going to swimming lessons! We did early lessons with Anna too and since summer is on it's way, thought it would be great to get Claire accustomed to the water early.
When we first got in the water, Claire wasn't sure what to think. Her little fingers were dug far into my arms and she didn't want any space between us. She held on to her toy pretty tightly and that was about it. Within about 10 minutes though, she was splashing and laughing and chasing down other toys.

Here Claire was a little less clingy and enjoyed being pulled through the water. Her good friend Evan is in the class too so she keeps a close eye on him and what he's learning as well.

Summer seems so far away with winter coats still being worn!
Overall Claire's first lesson was a success. She loved the water and didn't want to get out at the end. Hopefully her next lesson she will be just as excited!
