This past week was our spring break, and what a wonderful spring break it was!
The week started with a visit from James, Denise and Lane. We had a fun weekend shopping and hanging out with them.
Monday and Tuesday brought girls time while Daddy was at work. We played games, colored, did puzzles, shopped, and got ready for our next visitors!
Tuesday Aunt Kate and her friend Kayla came to visit us. They spent the first part of their Easter Break with us. They were on a mission to shop at the Mall of America; they came to the right place.
Friday we all got in our cars and headed south to Iowa. We celebrated Easter with both sides of the family. It was a fun weekend with some beautiful weather mixed in!
Friday we were able to walk to the park at Daddy's old elementary school and enjoy some time playing. Claire got her first ride on the slide and swings and she was in heaven! She is going to love our trips to the park this summer! Anna was thrilled to be outside playing. She climbed the climbing walls and continued to scare us all with her great abilities to climb to high places and get stuck. When we got back from the park Anna got to go on an Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa S's house. She successfully found all the eggs and a basket for her and one for Claire.
Saturday we went to a family wedding shower for Brian's cousin Nichole. It was a great time seeing extended family there.
Sunday we celebrated Easter at Grandma and Grandpa F's house. We went to church and then came back for a wonderful lunch and another fun Easter egg hunt. Anna loved finding more eggs and Claire loved watching everyone else so excited about everything. It was a brisk day, but it was fun to hunt for eggs outside. We are all so anxious to spend some more time outside!
Spring break was wonderful. We got back last night and found that the Easter Bunny had visited our house. After a quick egg hunt we unloaded the car, took baths, and quickly tucked into bed. Everyone was exhausted but thrilled we were able to spend time with family.
